Self-portrait featuring the artist’s 1st-grade class photograph and hand-cut flowers. The necklace belonged to the artist’s biological mother on special occasions. Growing up in the foster care system and without her mother, the necklace holds great significance to the artist. These elements are collaged on top of the screen-print portrait.
