In this session\, Casandra Stouder (Chair of the Arizona ACEs Consortium Rural & Indigenous Community Committee) moves beyond the generic trauma overview to explore the powerful intersection of cutting-edge neuroscience\, epigenetics\, and traditional Indigenous teachings. \nParticipants will explore “The Brain Map\,” a unique approach that aligns the four sacred directions of the Medicine Wheel with the mental\, physical\, emotional\, and spiritual aspects of trauma and recovery. By weaving ancestral wisdom with modern brain science\, this presentation offers a culturally responsive blueprint for recognizing trauma responses\, addressing intergenerational impacts\, and building sustainable pathways to community resilience. \nBio: Casandra Stouder is a dedicated community advocate\, leader\, and the Chair of the Rural & Indigenous Community Committee for the Arizona ACEs Consortium.
