Description– Screen Time is often difficult to navigate – especially when working with children and youth. Join us as we explore this challenge together.
Whether you are a parent or foster parent, CASA volunteer, youth worker, educator or therapist – screen time habits are something that are difficult to model, teach and navigate! Join us for some great tips, feedback, research and disussion on something that profoundly impacts all of us.
Bio — Robin is a trauma-informed trainer, parenting coach, speaker, and writer. She has a passion for partnering with schools, organizations, churches and the community. She believes that when we all understand the effects of trauma, it changes how we respond and show up for others. When we respond to those around us with compassion and empathy, we help build bridges of connection and healing.
Robin and her husband, Roger, were married in 1991 and have 5 daughters including 4 biological and 1 adopted out of foster care ranging in age from 22-32 years old. Her life is full with family, training and inspiring others. She is a certified trainer for the AZ ACEs Consortium, the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, and a Trained Independent Facilitator of the Love and Logic® Curriculum (having taught well over 8,000 parents and educators these amazing tools.) She has a B.S. in Child Development and an M.A. in Human Resource Leadership.
